Message from Business Manager Chris Erikson
What a difference a year makes. Looking back, a year ago we were in the depths of the pandemic. The vaccinations and the boosters have made a big difference. I hope that you and your families have been spared the worst of Covid-19. Your good health has never been more precious, as life is precious. We are fast approaching a new year and you need to get your annual physicals. Our Medical Department has saved many members’ lives by identifying problems that were picked up early during the exams. Members had no idea that they even had an issue. It’s the best gift you can give to yourself and your family.
I also want to extend best wishes and season’s greetings on behalf of all of the officers of Local 3. Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, and Merry Christmas, enjoy the holidays. Hopefully, you can come out on the 18th as we as a community light the tree and the holiday candles in Electchester. Let us also pray that the new year brings some relief to those unemployed members who have been struggling for too long, and remember to help those less fortunate as well. Peace.
