LOCAL UNION NO. 3 DUES INFORMATION

 

“A” Construction - The amount due for the period of
October 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, is $319.00.

 

Dues for the period of October 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027 is $319.00 for all “A” Construction Divisions including: AJ, Apprentices, A Telephone, G Superintendents, J Street Lighting, MIJ, MJ, M Helpers, Outside Utility, RW and RE.

PLEASE NOTE: Dues are subject to change at the 41st IBEW International Convention (September 21-25, 2026, in San Diego, California), if the Delegates vote to increase the Per Capita Dues or IBEW Pension Benefit Fund contributions.
 

Dues breakdown for the period of October 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027:

  • $24.00 in Per Capita Dues to IBEW
  • $23.00 to the IBEW Pension Benefit Fund
  • $2.20 to the Electrical Workers Death Benefit Society
  • $0.50 to the Overage Fund
  • $3.46 to Local Union No. 3 for Dues

 

This adds up to $53.16 per month x 6 months, equaling $318.96 for the six-month period (Local 3’s portion = $36.96 and the IBEW’s portion = $282.00), which is rounded to $319.00 with $0.04 remaining in the member’s balance.

All payments should be mailed by early September in order to ensure the newly issued working card is received by the member prior to October 1, 2026. No cash is accepted. Dues must be paid by check or money order, or by clicking here and using Local Union No. 3, IBEW's online dues payment portal.

Dues Exemption:

A member who has 20 years of continuous good standing upon reaching the age of 60 years old may request Dues Exemption. To do so, the member must write to the Executive Board of Local 3, IBEW requesting such consideration. Any member who believes he/she is eligible must send their request and a copy of their Passport, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, or Enhanced Driver’s License to: Executive Board, Local 3, IBEW, 158-11 Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Ave., Flushing, N.Y. 11365.
