Staten Island Electrical Club

The Staten Island Electrical Club recently partnered with the Notre Dame Club of Staten Island, which held its 34th annual “Bread of Life” Food Drive at Monsignor Farrell High School on the morning of Saturday, April 12th. Volunteers started preparing the food collections the day before outside Blessed Sacrament Church on the north shore of Staten Island. In the end, over 150 members of Local 3 across several divisions and affiliated clubs came together to make this year’s food drive successful.

The Staten Island Electrical Club hosted its annual Family Day Picnic at Nansen Park on Saturday, August 3rd. The event brought together SIEC members, both past and present, their family members, and local elected officials. This year’s “Man of the Year” was recently retired Business Representative Ben Arana and the “Rank and File” honoree was Pete Guerriera. Special recognition was given to former SIEC President Thomas Garavuso and retired Local 3 Vice President Salvatore Bruzzese, who has 70 years of membership in our brotherhood.
