The Staten Island Electrical Club recently partnered with the Notre Dame Club of Staten Island, which held its 34th annual “Bread of Life” Food Drive at Monsignor Farrell High School on the morning of Saturday, April 12th. Volunteers started preparing the food collections the day before outside Blessed Sacrament Church on the north shore of Staten Island. In the end, over 150 members of Local 3 across several divisions and affiliated clubs came together to make this year’s food drive successful. At least 17 union signatory contractors donated vehicles, and more than 20 truckloads of food were distributed to food banks and pantries on Staten Island and in Brooklyn.
