This notice is being mailed to the members of Local Union No. 3, IBEW. Please note that, in addition to the Business Manager and President, there will be thirteen (13) additional Delegates and eight (8) Alternate Delegates elected to represent the membership.
Dear Member,
The 41st IBEW International Convention is set to convene from September 21-25, 2026, in San Diego, California.
As per the IBEW Constitution, Article II, Section 10; No member shall be nominated as a delegate or alternate delegate unless they are present or signify their willingness in writing, nor shall they be eligible to be a delegate or an alternate unless in continuous good standing in their Local Union at least twenty-four (24) months immediately prior to nomination. If elected, the delegate or alternate must remain in good standing through the month in which the I.C. is held.
As per the Local Union No. 3 Bylaws, Article VIII, Sec. 3; The Business Manager and President shall, by virtue of the office, serve as a delegate to the International Convention.
The meeting is called to order at 5:00 P.M. and the nominations, which shall be made from the floor, will commence upon the completion of the reading of the Minutes and Financial Reports.

A special order of business meeting will be held to conduct the Secret Ballot Election of Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the 41st IBEW International Convention

This will be a Secret Ballot Election with the names of those nominated being listed in alphabetical order on the ballot. There shall be thirteen (13) additional Delegates and eight (8) Alternate Delegates elected to represent the membership.
