Annual MLK Day Brunch in Westchester County

On Sunday, January 15, Local 3 Westchester County members attended the annual MLK Day brunch at Alvin & Friends restaurant in New Rochelle, New York. This year’s event was an even bigger success than last year’s with 30 members in attendance. We also had a few retirees who led us in an invocation prayer, and retired shop steward Mack Homer spoke about how much the opportunities changed once Local 3 took over from Local 501. Business Representative Louis Sanchez gave a brief overview of the employment situation and reported on the progress the IBEW continues to make on our behalf. Hopefully this event will continue to grow every year.
