Let us all pause from the insanity that is the state of America today.
Let us pause to reflect on the season - of peace, joy, and hope. Let us pause to share our time with our friends and families. Whether you celebrate Kwanzaa, Hanukkah or Christmas, take the time to reflect on the blessings we all share as Americans and members of this great union.
Let us welcome the New Year with resolve, so that we can come together as a country committed to rejecting the divisiveness and committed to rejecting the fear and hate that is pitting Americans against one another. We live in the greatest country in the world. United we will stand tall, divided we will fall. We all want to be proud to be Americans and what that means.
Embrace our diversity with tolerance and accept that we can have differences of opinions. Without that we are lost. At the end of the day, we need to move our country forward together for all Americans. Our history and our values demand it and we need to do it for our children and our grandchildren who deserve it. God Bless America.
