Business Manager Chris Erikson visited Local 3, IBEW members working at LaGuardia Airport on the largest renovation project of its kind currently underway in the entire country. First opened in 1939, the new LaGuardia Airport will ultimately add 2.7 million sq. ft., 72 new gates, 24 new bridges, six concourses, two new arrival and departure terminals, and 13.7 miles of new roadway.

“On too many jobs, a non-union contractor and the customer don't care what's behind the wall, but I know on a Local 3 job what's behind the wall,” Business Manager Chris Erikson said. “That's why we're the best electricians in the world right there.”
