The renewal period for SST cards is coming up soon. Please see the following notes:

  • If a worker fails to comply with renewal training before the expiration stamped on front of the Full SST card: the card expires and the OSHA 30, 8-Hour Fall Prevention, and 2-Hour Drug & Alcohol courses must be re-taken and completed for issuance of a new Full SST card.
  • If a worker trained as Supervisor SST desires to downgrade to a Full SST card upon expiration: OSHA 30, 8-Hour Fall Prevention, and 2-Hour Drug & Alcohol courses must be taken and completed.

There is no citation on the NYC Buildings Department website offering this information.

A letter of notice will be mailed to each member 3 months prior to the date of expiration that is stamped on the front of the Training Connect SST card with information for renewal training. Please call the Safety Department with any questions.
