Keep cool, brothers and sisters. The President got Covid and so could you. The infection numbers are up, and we probably have all let our guards down. Once again we are reminded that we will be dealing with this for a long time. Getting vaccinated and boosted could save your life.
Things remain slow work wise. Thank God for the benefits. The furlough plan is in effect and the replacements are being sent out. The new contract provides for penalties for contractors who are not in compliance, and we are monitoring that situation closely.
The Labor Day Parade is right around the corner, so let’s show our collective strength with a big turnout in September. We are the biggest and the best. It’s our opportunity to once again show everyone who we are so make sure you do your part and show up. Be safe everyone and continue to enjoy the summer. We’ll be busy come the fall.
