The Westchester Putnam Retirees Chapter of Local Union #3 is unique to the other chapters, in that our membership consists of retired Local #3 members from NYC, and also from the Westchester, Putnam, and Fairfield, CT jurisdictions. We meet once a month, with the exception of July, August, and December, at the Local #3 headquarters, 200 Bloomingdale
Road, White Plains, NY.
Our goal is to keep our members “connected”, by passing on the information given to the board members at our monthly meeting with the Pension Director, Maureen Steiger. We have a Christmas/Hanukkah Party in December, and during the course of the year, we organize a fishing trip, a luncheon, a trip to a Broadway Show, and two golf outings at the prestigious, Leewood Golf Club, In Eastchester, NY. The proceeds from the golf outings are used to support
the Fisher House Foundation, assisting the families of our wounded service men and women.
We are always looking for new members. Retirees living in the above-mentioned areas are bound to meet men that they’ve worked with over the years, so please take the opportunity to rekindle those friendships and to foster new ones.
