Due to the redistricting process following the 2020 U.S. Census, the primary elections in New York for the U.S. House of Representatives and the State Senate have been rescheduled to take place in August. Early voting will take place August 13-21 and Election Day is on August 23.

The NYS AFL-CIO has announced their endorsements for federal and state primaries. Of these, Local 3 has also endorsed Elizabeth Crowley (D) for State Senate in the 59th District and Max Rose (D) for Congress in the 11th District. Please pay attention to volunteer opportunities to get out the vote with Local 3, Affiliated Clubs, and our partner organizations in the labor movement.

If you or an eligible voter you know is not registered, the deadline for this primary election is July 29, and the deadline to update your address is August 3. For those already registered to vote in New York State, you can use the NYS Board of Elections' website to verify your current home address, party affiliation, and polling location(s) for early voting and Election Day. Voters registered within New York City can get more information from the NYC Board of Elections.
