Memorial Mass for Construction Workers

The annual Memorial Mass for Construction Workers was held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Wednesday, May 3rd. Hundreds of building trades workers, union members, supporters, and families participated in the Mass and the procession of hardhats and banners, led by Local 3’s Sword of Light Pipes and Drums Band. The Catholic Council of Electrical Workers’ chaplain, Fr. Brian Jordan, presided over the memorial service in honor of the 16 construction workers who died on the job in 2022-23.
