It’s time to submit your best photos from the workplace for your chance to win the 2024 IBEW Photo Contest! Entries must be submitted electronically by November 1st. Top prizes are $1,000 for 1st place, $750 for 2nd, and $500 for 3rd, as well as $200 for honorable mentions from each branch of the IBEW (Broadcasting, Inside Construction, Outside Construction, Government, Manufacturing, Railroad, Telecommunications, and Utility). The 1st-place winner of the 2023 contest, featured alongside the other finalists on the front page of the IBEW’s Electrical Worker Online, was Seattle Local 77 journeyman lineman Phil Weller, who used his iPhone 14 to capture a symmetrical photo of his crewmates working for Chelan County Public Utility District while doing routine maintenance on transmission lines.
