David is a 3rd generation Local 3 member. He was initiated into Local 3 in February 1984 and became an “A” member in August 1989.
He has been a Journeyman, Sub-foreman, Foreman and General Foreman. He was an Assistant Super and General Superintendent.
He worked as a downtown Manhattan Shop Steward for 6 1/2 years and now currently is working as a General Foreman on a new construction project.
David has served as past President and is currently a board member of the Electrical Welfare Club, teacher for the Educational Department, High Rise Construction Codes and Practices for the past 12 years. He has been a member of the Monday night Grievance Committee for the past 3 years and a member of the Wage and Policy for the past 20 years. He was a member of the 2010 contract negotiation committee.
He is married for the past 12 years to his wife Audie and has 2 step-children and 4 grandchildren.
