A Message from Business Manager Chris Erikson
Less than a month until America decides its future. Don’t let someone else decide it for you. I want to thank all the volunteers for their commitment so far this election season. The labor walks and phone banks are critical to getting out the vote. If you have not given any of your time yet, we need you now. As your Business Manager, I could care less about all the BS issues, there is nothing more important to me than the survival of our union and our collective economic security. And let me be clear, our survival is absolutely on the ballot in this election. Nothing is more important, and the differences between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are clear as a bell. Protecting the middle class versus destroying it by giving it all to the top 1% in our country is just one thing that we are up against. Not to mention whether or not our Democracy survives a second Trump presidency.
Joe Biden has set us on a path where employment in our country is strong, inflation is under control, interest rates are coming down, wages have grown and the price gouging by corporate America for record profits is abating. We have an administration that has made a serious positive impact for working men and women. Kamala Harris will continue to fight for the working class. Trump and Project 2025 will destroy it. We need to flip the House by electing pro-union candidates, and we can do it if we all do our part over the next four weeks. Eternal vigilance, brothers and sisters. Eternal vigilance.
