That’s something some of our members might say about the union - members that have enjoyed all of the benefits that membership in Local 3 has brought to them and their families. I talk about all the benefits in my recent Union World editorial because it’s important to know what we have and how quickly it can be lost.
Many of these benefits were negotiated by those that came before us. Gifts that too many members take for granted, these benefits that have been handed to us. As we grow with more new and younger members, they may not even know what we have.

This organization is only as strong as the effort our members put into it and we have many loyal active members who get it and live up to the oath they took when they became members. But we need everybody moving forward together and now is the time to get on board.
