On November 3, 2017, members of Apogee Translite Inc. an independent custom lighting fixtures manufacturing shop, located in Deer Park, New York ratified a four-year agreement with Local 3, IBEW. The agreement called for a 4% percent contribution increase into the Pension, Health & Welfare Fund, along with general wage increases in three of the four years of the agreement. The contract was retroactive to July 1, 2017.

The contract was retroactive to October 1, 2017.

They are UL-50 Listed for electrical enclosures and have the ability to fabricate multiple products in a variety of NEMA ratings. Modern Empire has been in business for over 20 years, their products are made in the USA, at their manufacturing facility located in Paterson, New Jersey.
JC Decaux is a new company to Local 3, IBEW. It has just signed a 19-month agreement with the Union with an effective date of November 1, 2017. The company will now be doing all the bus shelter work that was formerly done by Dynaserv Industries. This includes the cleaning and posting as well as the maintaining and repairing of the New York City Bus Shelters.
