At the August General Membership meeting it was announced that Patrick Moquin was elected to fill the unexpired term of Marc V. Brown who announced his retirement effective September first.
In May 1987, Patrick joined the supply division of Local 3. In August of 1989, he entered the Apprenticeship program of the “A” division. Since becoming a third-generation journeyman in 1996, Patrick has worked as a sub-foreman, foreman and shop steward within Local 3.
Patrick is proud to have been a member of the Sword of Lights Bagpipe Band from 1987 to 1997. Patrick is a proud member of the Catholic Council, Westchester Mechanics, as well as a member and former officer of the Allied Club. He is also a member of the Colony Club and has served as its president since 2014.
Since being elected to the Wage and Policy Committee in 2000, Patrick has served on numerous committees, including the Work Share Plan Committee in 2004, 2007 and 2010. In 2010, he had the honor of serving as the Chairman for the Local 3 Contract Negotiation and he has served as Chairman of the Loan Committee since 2011.
