Thomas Gallagher
Thomas (Tommy) Gallagher joined Local 3 in 1974 after attending Herbert H. Lehman College and earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 1980, he completed the apprentice training program and received his “A” journeyman wireman classification.
He was a journeyman wireman for multiple contractors including Fishbach & Moore Electric, Arc Electric, Coyne Electric, Forest Electric, Alcom Electric and Petrocelli Electric
He was a sub foreman for Fishbach & Moore Electric, Coyne Electric, Forest Electric, Alcom Electric and Petrocelli Electric.
He was a general foreman for Forest Electric, Coyne Electric, Alcom Electric & Petrocelli Electric and superintendent for Elemco Electrical Testing Corporation.
Among his skills training was High Voltage Electrical Splicer, High Voltage Electrical Tester and instructor, Asbestos, Restricted Handler, Full Handler, Supervisor and instructor New York City and New York State Certificate of Fitness, Smoke Detector Maintenance, N.Y.F.D.

Thomas served as Director of Pension & Retirement Services, Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry from 2007 to 2017.
Thomas lives in Yonkers, NY with his wife of 43 years Christine; he has 2 daughters Anne who is married to Arthur and Madeline who is married to Kevin and they have 2 daughters, Elizabeth and Anna. We wish Thomas and his family all the best.
