After lengthy negotiations, the ‘E’ Switchgear Division contract was ratified in December by secret ballot, with the majority of ‘E’ Switchgear Division members voting "Yes.” This new four-year contract entails an 11% increase in wages and medical benefits.
Local 3, IBEW is happy to announce the agreement included a wage increase in each year plus a critical increase to the Employees’ Security Fund (ESF) Health and Welfare Medical Plan, ensuring coverage for all members under the contract for the next four years. We encourage all Local 3 contractors to use the products manufactured by our brothers and sisters in the ‘E’ Switchgear Division.
