Camp Integrity at Redwood, Local 3’s new campgrounds in Walden, NY for members’ families and children, is open this summer! The first campers arrived on Sunday, June 27 and a special flag-raising event took place on Monday, June 28, attended by campers, staff, and several E&C trustees. Business Manager Chris Erikson delivered remarks with Michael Yee, Director of the Educational and Cultural Trust Fund; Dr. Gerald Finkel, Chair of the Joint Industry Board; Kristine DeNapoli, President of NY NECA; and Local 3 President Thomas J. Cleary.
Since the summer of 1972, when Camp Integrity was built on the shores of Southampton, Long Island, it has been a cherished benefit offered by the Educational and Cultural Trust Fund of the Electrical Industry. Over 22,000 children of Local 3 members have enjoyed the programs and adventures provided by this unique benefit.
