On Sunday, December 3rd, the “A” Apprentice Advisory Committee partnered once again with Churches United for Fair Housing (CUFFH) to host a family-friendly Christmas party. CUFFH is a local advocacy organization that offers assistance to low-income families seeking affordable housing and related social services in New York City.
For the first time since 2019, the Apprentice Committee hosted the party in the Electrical Industry Center Auditorium, which was temporarily transformed into a winter wonderland with bounce houses, arts and crafts, games, food and treats, and a dance party. It wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Santa Claus and his little helpers who gave out toys to the children. Congratulations to the Local 3 Apprentice Committee and apprentices Brandon Behar, Jonathan Peña, and Brittany S. Rivera for putting together a very successful event!
Furthermore, the “A” Apprentice Advisory Committee elected new officers (left to right): Shamir Bidaisee (Treasurer), Kristopher Lopez Jr. (Vice Chair), Brandon Behar (Chair), Kyle Kopczynski (Recording Secretary), Gary Edel II (Sergeant at Arms), and Jeffrey Diciccio (Sergeant at Arms).
