Do you have a child graduating high school in June 2025 or already enrolled in their first year of college? Applications are now open for the Educational & Cultural Trust Fund’s annual scholarship awards, which offer up to $7,500 per year toward your child’s tuition. Applications are due by January 31st. The same application deadline applies to the Michael Siegel Memorial Scholarship, which offers $5,000 for undergraduate study to the children of eligible Sign Division members.

The IBEW awards scholarships to adults, too. The Founders’ Scholarship offers up to $200 per semester credit hour or $134 per trimester credit hour at any accredited college or university toward an associate’s, bachelor’s, or postgraduate degree in a field that will further the electrical industry overall (as determined by the Founders’ Scholarship Administrator). The maximum distribution is $24,000 per person over a period not to exceed 8 years. Visit ibew.org/foundersscholarship for eligibility requirements, instructions, and a printable application due by May 1st.
