Election Day is on Tuesday, November 7th, and early voting is available in many states including New York (October 28th-November 5th). If you will be out of state, absentee ballot applications must be mailed by October 23rd or submitted in-person at your nearest Board of Elections office up to November 6th.
Even though this is an “off-year” election, there are important races happening locally. Make sure you are registered and have a plan to vote! The first step in any plan to vote is to make sure you are registered at your current address. This Saturday, October 28th, is New York’s deadline to register to vote in this year’s General Election. This is also important to do before the start of the 2024 presidential election cycle.
Local 3 has recently published General Election endorsements in the outgoing Union World newspaper and on the Political Action webpage. Vote for your economic interests and for those candidates who will support organized labor in office.
