The Electrical Workers Minority Caucus (EWMC) NYC Chapter held a comedy event at the Joint Industry Board Auditorium last month. The event included a tribute to Local #3 members highlighting their volunteer work and experiences in Angola, bestowing the “Best Dressed Award” to its honoree, and enjoying an evening of great entertainment with great comedians for a great cause.
The funds raised at this year’s event is used to help offset the costs incurred by attendees of the national IBEW EWMC conference held every year on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
