Mayoral candidate Scott Stringer held a rally in City Hall Park in Lower Manhattan on Saturday with over 100 supporters from progressive organizations, elected officials, and the city’s unions including Local Union No. 3, IBEW. One after another, speakers announced their endorsements and attested to Stringer being “ready on Day 1” as the next mayor of New York City.
As NYC Comptroller, Stringer currently oversees the city’s pensions and public works contracts. Stringer has been endorsed by Local 3, the Building and Construction Trades Council, and the United Federation of Teachers (UFT), to name a few.
The primaries take place on June 22 and early voting begins June 12. Make sure you are registered at your current address and when the time comes get out the vote for Local 3-endorsed candidates in these pivotal elections.
