NYS Public Employee Conference at the Long Island Educational Center

The New York State Public Employee Conference (NYSPEC) recently held their annual Summer Conference at the Long Island Educational Center. Local 3 is proud to be a part of this organization that unites and advocates for public employees in Albany. At the conference, discussion focused around important issues facing public employees like the recent Janus vs. AFSCME Supreme Court case which under Trump, made all public employee workplaces open shop, creating "right-to-work" in the public sector.
